Problem Statement
In Africa, home to 1.4 billion people or approximately 16.72% of the global population (Worldometer, 2019), access to healthcare remains a significant challenge, particularly in underserved communities. The World Health Organization (WHO) notes that more than half of the global population lacking adequate medical resources resides in African nations. The lack of timely access to healthcare services is more than just an inconvenience—it's a critical barrier. The frustration from overcrowded clinics, long wait times, and extensive travel often lead people to lose interest in managing their health, severely impacting their well-being and potential to contribute to their communities."
Solution
Eazzi Doctor, A telemedicine Dashboard System designed to improve healthcare accessibility across underserved regions by providing a comprehensive platform where patients and healthcare providers can engage in remote medical consultations and services. This initiative aims to develop a user-friendly dashboard that facilitates online appointments, medical consultations, and health monitoring. By doing so, it seeks to bridge the gap in healthcare services caused by geographical barriers, limited medical personnel, and infrastructure constraints. The project's overarching goal is to enhance healthcare delivery and patient outcomes in regions plagued by healthcare access issues, ultimately contributing to the overall well-being and health standards of communities in need.
